This year, Epic Kites debuts the Epic Screamer kiteboarding kite, designed by legendary rider Dimitri Maramenides. This four-line SLE was built as an “all-access” kite for riders of any level. From racing and hang time to unbelievable pop and incredible turning speed, this kite delivers. The experienced rider will enjoy the top-end, competition-ready performance, while the intermediate rider will notice the simple relaunch and effortless turning that makes it so user-friendly. Also available is the limited-edition 10-meter. It offers a similar feel to the standard Screamer but has significantly increased power, giving the 10-meter the same power as an 11.5-meter. Lighter riders can use this as their booster and light-wind kite. Heavier riders will find it ideal for moderate conditions.

I am a new dealer for Epic and got the product line because I am a fan of Dimitri and believe in him, his work ethic and trust in his designs. I got the Screamers in with out ever trying one. Now that I have had a chance to fly most sizes I have got to say that I am truley impressed and have no regrets. The kite is no less than awsome and customer service has been great. I recomend anyone looking for a new kite to try the Epic line before you buy anything else. Everyone that has tried these kites have been amazed.

We saw Dimitri down OBX first week of May. He came down sound side to allow us demo his kites and show us some amazing moves.
I took the 9m Screamer and the 7m Screamer for a test ride and I was really pleased!
The construction is solid and shows an above standard mix between light ripstop and D-polyester with solid seams.
Right of the bat the 9m had a ton of grunt in the water on about 25-30kn. I veered downwind to get some speed (following Dm pointers on the kite), edged hard and quick and man I was in the clouds! I haven't boosted bigger than that with such little work. Overall good control while in flight and very responsive with little input on the bar. Smooth turning an a solid power feeling throughout the turns. Looped the kite a couple of times, it remains steady on the end of the loop
The bar is also a collection of new and improved counterparts. swivel down the chicken loop, easy punch out safety and easy to reassemble as well.
I am already looking into purchasing one of these for my quiver.
