Globe Kites totally redesigned the Trix kiteboarding kite and combined all of the best aspects of the kite from the past three years to deliver them in one refined, potent kite. More swept back, like a medium-aspect delta, the kite’s central profile is the same. However, the drag on the tips is lower, making for a faster-flying and more powerful kite. Repositioning itself automatically to the edge of the wind window upon crash, the relaunch is dramatically improved. The turning speed can be adjusted, like on the 2009 Trix, to make it ideal for wave riding. The bridle can also be tuned to make the kite turn faster than last year’s Trix, and the bar pressure can be customized as well, giving the rider a kite with the perfect feel for his or her personal liking.
