Gulfport Boardsports has been serving the Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama gulf coasts since 1989. We deliver fast, friendly service for the right equipment at the best price.
Tommy and his wife Dana started windsurfing in 1985. By 1989 the local shop had closed so Tommy decided to start Gulfport Windsurfing. The business and customer base has steadily grown over the years. When the internet came along Gulfportwindsurfing.com was launched and customers from all over the USA have been served. Kiteboarding evolved and Tommy was one of the first kiteboarders on the MS coast.Kiteboarding has now a large part of the business.
In Oct 2008 Tommy decided to expand and take on a partner Scott May and rename the business GulfportBoardSports, we are planning to grow and have an even larger presence on the web with full service ecommerce web site. We are also now carrying stand up paddle boards for those no wind days. We will continue to strive to give you the best service and price you can find.
