For the first time leading brands of the kitesurfing-industry presented themselves on the ispo summer 06 in Munich, held from of July16-18.

Once again the board ispo in hall 3 was the main attraction for more than 19.000 professional visitors from all over the world. Leading kitesurf-brands like Naish Kiteboarding, Airush, Ocean Rodeo, DaKine, Brunotti Boards, Maui Magic, Advance Kites, Best Kiteboarding, Mystic Kitesurfing and Slingshot Kiteboarding presented their new products for the next season 2007. According to the exhibitors the visitors were mainly interested in the Bow-Kite development and in the waveriding section.

International stars of the kitesurf scene like the acting PKRA world champion Kristin Boese, the German Master Silvester Ruckdaeschel, Naish Teamrider Leeshai Miller and Ben Meyer and Cabrinha Teamrider Alex Soto have been interviewed on the “TradeWind” Stage.

The booth “History of Kitesurfing”, a summery of the kitesurf-history of the last six years, was visited and liked very well. Antique kite-equipment from the beginning of kitesurfing, like the legendary kiteski system of Corey Roeseler, the first 2-lines tubekite from Wipika and the first serial directional board from F-one, were issued.

The next ispo summer 07 will be from the 8th to the 10th of July 2007 in Munich.
