1. INVITATION
   The San Francisco Bay Kite Fleet and the St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco, California, cordially invite you to attend the 2008 US Kiteboarding National Championships to be held Monday, June 9 through Sunday, June 15, 2008 on the waters of San Francisco Bay.
2. LOCAL ORGANIZING AUTHORITY
   The Local Organizing Authority (LOA) will be the St. Francis Yacht Club.
3. RULES
   This regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) and the SF Bay Kite Fleet One Rules.
4. ADVERTISING
   This event is a category 'C' class as set out in the ISAF Regulation 20 – Advertising Code. Competitors who have their own sponsorship are asked to notify the LOA in writing of their sponsor. Competitors may be required to wear sponsor jersey and/or sail stickers on their kite.
5. SAFETY
   All competitors shall wear full wetsuits. Half wetsuits will not be allowed. Water temperature will average 58-60 degrees Fahrenheit while San Francisco Bay winds range from 15–30 knots.
6. ELIGIBILITY
   All entries shall be members of the US Kiteboard Class. Competitors may apply for membership during event registration.
7. DISCIPLINE
   For the determination of the US National Champion the discipline will be Course Racing.
8. ENTRY
   Registration may be completed online at www.stfyc.com. The Entry fee is $175, if received by June 1, 2008. The Entry fee is $225, if received after June 1, 2008. Late registration and Check-In will begin at 1200 hours and close at 1700 hours on June 9, 2008.

   Tuesday, June 10
   • 10 a.m.: Sailor's Meeting, (Mandatory)
   • 11:30 a.m.: Racing (Qualifiers)
   • 6:00 p.m.: Opening Ceremony
   Wednesday, June 11
   • 11:30 a.m.: Racing (Qualifiers)
   • 6:00 p.m.: Post Racing Social
   Thursday, June 12
   • 11:30 a.m.: Racing (Qualifiers)
   • 6:00 p.m.: Post Racing Social
   Friday, June 13
   • 11:30 a.m.: Racing (Finals)
   • 6:00 p.m.: Dinner
   Saturday, June 14
   • 11:30 a.m.: Racing (Finals)
   • 7:00 p.m.: Trophy Presentation & Crissy Kite Day Party
   Sunday, June 15
   • 11:30 a.m.: Reserve Day
10. SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
    Sailing Instructions will be available at registration while an unofficial may be found on the website by June 6, 2008.
11. RACING AREA
    Racing will take place on the City Front Racing Area, San Francisco Bay.
